AI PCIe card for autonomous mobility boost

US chip designer Recogni has launched a PCI Express AI card for autonomous vehicles.

The Pegasus PCIe 4.0 AI card allows the Recogni Scorpio 1000 TOPS inference chip to be configured for any autonomous mobility application.

With four lanes of PCIe, the Pegasus card can process up to four 8 megapixel cameras to provide front and surround views. The Recogni software development kit (SDK) to convert, compile, profile and deploy models. Perception output includes 3D object detection, vulnerable road user detection, lane detection, free space detection, and traffic light/sign detection.
