TTTech Auto has launched a data logger with hot-swappable storage designed specifically for Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) verification and validation.
The PM-350 Automotive Data Logger is optimised for capturing signals from an Automotive Ethernet 100/1000Base-T1 bus with precise, synchronized data capture via centralized timestamp resolution below 100 ns.
This ensures vehicle safety by freedom from interference on communication level. In addition, it supports the logging of traditional interfaces, including CAN FD, LIN, and FlexRay.

- Three team for SDV software stack
- Rebranding for software defined vehicles
Capturing and storing all the data across all the busses is a key challenge for such software defined vehicle designs, so the Equipped with two NVMe M.2 SSDs, each one offering up to 4TB of industrial-grade storage for high recording rates while minimizing power consumption.
The data logger also adds a hot-swap feature that allows users to seamlessly exchange SSDs during active sessions without disrupting operations or risk of data loss.
The PM-350 includes an onboard keypad and display and is expandable through a variety of capture modules.
“The launch of the PM-350 marks a significant milestone in our commitment to advancing automotive data logging technology. This sets a new standard for capturing high-speed Automotive Ethernet, ensuring vehicle safety by freedom from interference on the communication level and for exchanging SSDs with a hot swap feature for seamless operation. We are confident that the PM-350 will empower our customers to achieve unparalleled performance and flexibility in their software-defined vehicle testing and fleet management operations,” said Lars Schöffel, Product Manager Data Logger TTTech Auto, which is being acquired by NXP Semiconductors.
The data logger is fully programmable with an open API and diagnostic protocol support for SDV functional testing, fleet management, and test drives. The software-defined device configuration enables remote data analysis and distribution and can be used with cascading devices with unique timestamps.
